First ice

Depicts the serene moment when the first thin layer of ice forms over a quiet river, signaling the arrival of winter. The water’s reflective surface captures the tall, slender trees on the left and the warm, golden tones of the autumn foliage on the right, creating a striking contrast between the coolness of the ice and the lingering warmth of fall. Soft hues of blue and gray fill the sky, enhancing the tranquil atmosphere of this seasonal transition in a peaceful countryside setting.   Artist: Oleksandr Demydenko  Country: Ukraine  Year: 2013 Size: 27.5 W x 19.7 H x 1 D in Materials: Oil on canvas
