Firegear Pro Series 32" Square Drop-In Fire Pit Pan & Burner

At the core of this system is a 21-inch Pro Series brass burning spur burner — a configuration that distributes flame across multiple legs, each fed by four injectors, for a wide, full fire presentation rather than a single concentrated flame point. Paired with a 32-inch 304 stainless steel drop-in pan, everything here is built to live outdoors permanently, not just seasonally. The TPSI ignition system (Thermocouple Piloted Safety Ignition) runs on a battery-powered spark igniter, meaning no standing pilot, no manual torch, and no fumbling with lighters. The thermocouple monitors the pilot flame continuously — if the flame goes out unexpectedly, the gas supply closes automatically. That's not a luxury feature; it's basic accountability for a 175,000 BTU appliance. The pan itself drops into a square opening between 32¼" and 33", making it compatible with a range of non-combustible enclosure builds. At 2½" deep with a 41-pound assembled weight, it has the physical presence to anchor a substantial fire pit table or custom masonry installation. The 304 stainless steel construction resists corrosion and handles the thermal cycling that comes with regular use — this grade of stainless is specified for a reason. Natural gas operation requires an inlet pressure between 3.5" WC minimum and 10.5" WC maximum, with 7.0" WC as the normal operating pressure. These are standard residential natural gas parameters, but your installer should verify supply pressure before commissioning. This unit is natural gas only — there is no propane conversion compatibility. Installation clearances are defined and non-negotiable: 36 inches to combustibles on the sides and back, 18 inches at the front, and a full 120 inches of ceiling clearance above. Ventilation requires a minimum of 18 square inches of cross-ventilation per side of the enclosure — an important detail for anyone designing a custom surround. These requirements exist to protect both the installation and the people around it, so they belong in the conversation with your contractor from day one. The brass burner material isn't merely aesthetic — brass holds up well under sustained heat and the specific demands of gas combustion in an outdoor environment. Combined with the stainless pan, this is a pairing chosen for longevity in real conditions, not just a spec sheet that looks good at the point of sale. At $2,359.00, this is a professional-grade drop-in system for fire pit installations where output, reliability, and material quality matter more than entry-level price points. If the fire feature is the centerpiece of an outdoor living space, the burner system underneath it deserves the same level of consideration as everything visible above it. 175,000 BTU output via 21-inch Pro Series brass burning spur burner 32-inch 304 stainless steel drop-in pan fits openings from 32¼" to 33" TPSI safety ignition with battery-powered spark igniter — no manual lighting Thermocouple shuts off gas automatically if pilot flame is lost Four injectors per burner leg for wide, even flame distribution 2½" pan depth; 41 lbs assembled weight Natural gas only — not compatible with propane conversion Natural gas inlet: 3.5" WC min / 7.0" WC normal / 10.5" WC max Requires minimum 18 sq. in. cross-ventilation per side of enclosure Side and back clearance to combustibles: 36" | Front: 18" | Ceiling: 120" 304 stainless steel pan resists corrosion and sustained thermal cycling Designed for permanent installation in non-combustible enclosures Pan Size 32" Square Drop-In Burner Type Pro Series 21" Brass Burning Spur Material - Pan 304 Stainless Steel Material - Burner Brass Ignition System TPSI (Thermocouple Piloted Safety Ignition) with Battery Powered Spark Igniter Fuel Type Natural Gas Btu Output 175,000 BTU Injectors Per Leg 4 Pan Depth 2½" Pan Opening 32¼"-33" Clearance To Combustibles - Sides 36" Clearance To Combustibles - Back 36" Clearance To Combustibles - Front 18" Clearance To Combustibles - Ceiling 120" Gas Pressure - Ng Min Inlet 3.5" WC (0.87 kPa) Gas Pressure - Ng Max Inlet 10.5" WC (2.61 kPa) Gas Pressure - Ng Normal Inlet 7.0" WC (1.74 kPa) Minimum Ventilation 18 square inches per side Item Weight Lbs 41.00
