Firefly 48" Round Fire Pit

Get Your 48" Round Fire Pit — Ready to Assemble, Built to Last A 48" round fire pit sits in your yard the way a fire should — open on all sides, everybody facing the same direction, no corners to crowd around. Forty-eight inches is the gathering size. It'll take six people comfortably. You're going to go outside more with this. Not because the weather changed — because now there's somewhere to sit around that's actually built to last. This is a real outdoor centerpiece, not a yard decoration. What You Get The Firefly 48" starts ready to finish. Aluminum frame. Burner already installed. Your job is to get it level and let it work. No assembly headaches. Materials that hold up: Aluminum doesn't rust the way steel does. Stainless steel burner won't corrode. You're not looking at this thing in five years wondering why it's falling apart. Heat that's real: The burner puts out meaningful warmth. 48" across means the heat spreads. You can actually feel it from a seat, not just smell smoke and hope. Propane or natural gas: Run it on whatever you've got. The burner takes both. If you have a line, hook it up. If you're using tanks, it works exactly the same. No mystery about what's in the box: Aluminum frame, stainless burner, ignition system, everything you see working. Not a kit that needs twelve more orders to work right. What Takes Real Work Freight is a separate cost. Delivery is not free and it is not included in the price. Checkout does not collect it only because we do not know your address until you order, and a crate this size gets priced address by address. We quote the real freight for where you live, send it as its own invoice, and it is paid before your fire pit leaves the factory. You need level ground. Concrete, pavers, or a proper foundation. If your yard is sloped or soft, that's prep work on your end and real money. We'll tell you what you need before you buy. Assembly is straightforward if you're handy. If you're not, call a contractor. Two hours tops for someone who does this, four or five for a first-time person. The manual is clear. Burner setup takes a professional if you're not confident with gas. Get it set wrong and you've got a safety problem. Most people hire this out, and that's the right call. The Details Dimensions: 48" diameter, 23–27" height (depending on stand height chosen at order) Weight: 140 lbs shipped, varies assembled Material: Aluminum frame (corrosion-resistant), stainless steel burner Burner output: 55,000 BTU nominal Fuel: Propane or natural gas (conversion kit included if switching) Ignition: Piezo push-button with manual backup Colors/Finishes: Available in multiple powder-coat options Warranty: 15-year frame, 1-year burner (standard across this category) Made: USA Assembly time: 2–5 hours depending on experience Why Round? Round sits everybody equal. Nobody's at the "short end" of a table, nobody's blocked by a corner. The heat spreads the same direction you're sitting. And it looks right — a fire ring has been the gathering spot since before we had porches. If you want rectangular or square for a specific patio layout, we have that too. But if you're building a place where people come to sit and stay, 48" round does that job better. Honest About Lead Time These are built to order. Our orders have averaged about two to three months. That's an average, not a promise — the factory's backlog moves, and right now it's closer to fourteen weeks. Call or text and we'll give you today's real number instead of the one that's easier to sell. Long enough to get the pad poured and start checking the driveway every afternoon. Buyer Questions We Hear Can I use this in a cold climate? — Yes. Snow won't hurt it. Ice won't hurt it. Don't run it if it's iced over (same as any gas appliance), and let it dry before firing it up again after rain. The aluminum won't crack. How much propane does it use? — 55,000 BTU burner, full-blast, runs roughly 4–5 hours per 20-lb tank. Most people don't run it flat-out for that long. Typical evening use is 2–3 hours per tank. What size space does 48" work for? — Think of it like a dining table. A 6-person table needs room around it. Same here — figure 12–15 feet clear in the direction people sit. It fits a medium patio, doesn't vanish on a lawn. Can I move it once it's set up? — Moving it is possible but heavy. It's meant to be a permanent fixture. Don't plan on repositioning it seasonally. Do I need a permit? — Depends on your county. Gas appliances sometimes do, sometimes don't. Check your local ordinances before ordering. We can't advise on that one. ]]>
