Firebird® Sargent Crabapple

A compact, fiery little Crabapple with spring blooms and vibrant red fruit that last well into winter FEATURES:  Compact ornamental Crabapple with a naturally rounded, spreading form Pink buds open to fragrant white flowers in spring, covering the tree in blooms Small glossy green leaves keep a tidy summer look Abundant bright red fruit persists into winter and attracts birds Excellent disease resistance for low maintenance care Ideal for small gardens, patios, courtyards, or foundation plantings Ships on our trucks because of the size of the tree. Does not fit in a box Bower & Branch Landscape Design Tip Because Firebird® stays smaller and broader than many Crabapples, it is an excellent choice for layered planting. Underplant with spring bulbs that bloom alongside its flowers, or surround it with low growing evergreens to frame its winter fruit display. Pairing it with ornamental grasses creates a striking autumn scene as the red fruit sparkles above golden plumes.
