Fire and Ice Hosta

Hosta 'Fire and Ice'   Sporting a new look with a familiar, classic appeal, the Fire and Ice Hosta resembles that of Patriot Hosta but with a mirrored color pattern. Grown for its ornamental foliage and lovely lavender flower stalks, its variegated twisted leaves feature centers of white with green margins around. As the spring turns to summer and fall, the white center will evolve to a light yellow in warmer climates. Fire and Ice performs wonderfully as edging in gardens especially because of its unique appeal. Perfect for any shade garden as a border or in mass planting under a tree, along paths, or even in large pots!
