Fino Mini

All the goodness of Fino in mini skeins! Elegant and refined, Fino is everybody's favorite. It combines the softness of merino wool with the lustre of silk in a lightweight yarn. We use Tussah Silk for this blend, produced by silk worms that feed on oak and similar tree leaves, rich in tannins that give the fiber a gorgeous golden tone. The colors in Fino's shade card are so beautiful due to its special dye process that yields complex, subtle, tonal colors. They are hand dyed by women artisans in Manos cooperatives in Uruguay's countryside. 100g/490 yds  I  70% extrafine merino wool, 30% Silk  I  1 - super fine Manos del Uruguay creates exquisite, hand-dyed yarns while empowering rural women through sustainable work. Alternate skeins by knitting two rows from one skein, then two rows from another skein. This will help to blend color differences.
