Finish Line Discs Torque (Forged)

The Finish Line Discs Torque in Forged plastic is an overstable control driver that holds up to full power and comes back in a flex line. It sits close to a Teebird3 and a slower Firebird. Flight Numbers: 8 / 4 / 0 / 2.5 Forged is Finish Line's premium plastic, with a comfortable rim and good feel. The mold has a pronounced dome that can feel tall on a forehand grip. Overstable fairway drivers tend to beat in toward a more neutral flight over a season, with plenty of glide left. Thrown flat with power it holds straight, then finishes with a moderate fade. On a hyzer release with a forehand it pops up to flat and fades gently, which is where it shines. Backhand it stays reliable in a headwind. It flies like a mix of an Eagle and a Firebird. A good pick for an intermediate or advanced thrower who wants a workhorse overstable fairway driver. Slower arms will find it fades early, but it still works as a utility disc for windy holes. Want to see something in the same slot from a bigger brand? The Innova Star Firebird is the classic comparison and the Innova Star Teebird is a stable alternative with less fade.
