Finest Call Grenadine 1L

Finest Call Grenadine 1L is a premium cocktail syrup made with real pomegranate and dark sweet cherry juice, bottled at 1% ABV in a 1-liter format. In a category where most commercial grenadines rely on artificial flavors and high fructose corn syrup, this expression stands apart by actually using its namesake fruit — the pomegranate — as a core ingredient. Quick Facts: ABV: 1%  |  Origin: New Albany, Indiana, USA  |  Style: Premium Cocktail Syrup  |  Producer: American Beverage Marketers (ABM) Production & Heritage Finest Call is produced by American Beverage Marketers (ABM), headquartered in New Albany, Indiana, just across the Ohio River from Louisville, Kentucky. The grenadine is formulated with a 5% juice blend that combines premium pomegranate juice and dark sweet cherry juice, yielding a thicker consistency and deeper color than many mass-market competitors. This dual-juice approach gives the syrup a more authentic fruit character, moving it beyond the one-dimensional sweetness that has become synonymous with generic grenadine products. Tasting Notes Appearance: Transparent with a deep reddish-purple hue that delivers lasting, vibrant color when added to cocktails. The consistency is noticeably thicker than thinner, artificially colored alternatives. Aroma: Sweet pomegranate leads, followed by a subtle dark cherry undercurrent. There is a mild candy-like quality without smelling overtly artificial. Taste: The entry is decidedly sweet, but a measured tartness from the pomegranate juice arrives quickly at mid-palate, providing balance. Dark cherry rounds out the profile and adds a layer of fruit complexity that prevents the syrup from tasting flat or cloying. Finish: Clean and smooth with lingering pomegranate sweetness. The tartness fades first, leaving a pleasant fruit-forward impression that integrates well into mixed drinks. How to Use Finest Call Grenadine This grenadine works best as a measured cocktail ingredient — typically a half-ounce to one ounce per drink — rather than a free pour. Its balanced sweetness and natural color make it a reliable bar staple across classic and contemporary recipes. Tequila Sunrise: The thick consistency creates a clean gradient when layered over tequila and orange juice, and the pomegranate-cherry flavor complements citrus without overwhelming it. Shirley Temple / Roy Rogers: Delivers the signature red hue and fruit sweetness these non-alcoholic classics demand, with a more authentic taste than artificially flavored options. Jack Rose: Pairs naturally with applejack and fresh lime juice; the real pomegranate notes echo the cocktail's original intent before grenadine quality declined industry-wide. Best For Stocking a home bar with professional-grade mixers Bartenders seeking consistent color and flavor across high-volume service Upgrading classic cocktails like the Singapore Sling or Ward Eight Making non-alcoholic drinks for family gatherings and celebrations Frequently Asked Questions What does Finest Call Grenadine taste like? It delivers a sweet and tart pomegranate flavor balanced by dark sweet cherry undertones, with a smooth texture and no harsh artificial aftertaste. How does Finest Call Grenadine compare to Rose's Grenadine? Finest Call uses real pomegranate and cherry juice in its formula, while Rose's Grenadine relies primarily on high fructose corn syrup and artificial flavors. The result is a thicker consistency, more authentic fruit character, and deeper natural color in the Finest Call product. Is Finest Call Grenadine good for cocktails? Yes — its balanced sweetness, vibrant color, and thicker body make it well suited for layered drinks like the Tequila Sunrise and classic recipes where grenadine plays a defining role. Where is Finest Call Grenadine made? It is produced by American Beverage Marketers (ABM) in New Albany, Indiana, United States, directly across the river from Louisville, Kentucky. What foods pair well with Finest Call Grenadine? Beyond cocktails, it works as a culinary ingredient: drizzled over vanilla ice cream for a pomegranate sundae, added to sparkling water with fresh mint for a fruit soda, mixed into vinaigrettes for salads featuring goat cheese and walnuts, or used as a glaze base for roasted duck or pork to add tartness and color. What sizes does Finest Call Grenadine come in? The standard widely available format is the 1-liter (1L) bottle, designed for both home and commercial bar use. Is Finest Call Grenadine worth the price? It positions as a mid-range premium mixer — priced above basic grocery-store grenadines like Rose's but accessible enough for everyday use. The inclusion of real fruit juice at this price point represents solid value for anyone serious about cocktail quality. Why Finest Call Grenadine? The word grenadine derives from the French word for pomegranate, yet most commercial grenadines contain none of the fruit. Finest Call bucks that trend by building its formula around actual pomegranate and dark sweet cherry juice, delivering color and flavor that trace back to what grenadine was originally meant to be. The 1-liter format and thick, pourable consistency make it practical for both single-serve home cocktails and high-volume bar environments. For anyone looking to move past artificially flavored syrups without the time commitment of making grenadine from scratch, this is a straightforward upgrade.
