Serious chocolate. Wild ideas. FINE & RAW began in a Williamsburg artist loft in 2007, when founder Daniel Sklaar started making small-batch chocolate for friends and friends of friends. Today, the Brooklyn maker takes an unabashedly creative approach to bean-to-bar chocolate, starting with organic cacao and crafting each bar in its Bushwick factory-café. The full bar collection moves well beyond the expected, from deeply dark 70% and 83% cacao bars to Cashew Butter, Raspberry, Lucuma & Vanilla, Mesquite, Sea Salt, Espresso, Ginger, Hazelnut Butter, Oat Milk Chocolate, Alderwood Smoked Salt, and Habanero Salt. Available in 1 oz and 2 oz bars, the collection spans rich, earthy, nutty, fruity, smoky, spicy, and coffee-forward flavors. Made with unrefined coconut sugar and crafted without dairy, these are the kind of chocolate bars that can turn a routine afternoon coffee break into a considerably better idea.
