Fine Open 1/2″ Mesh. This measures 1/2″ from the center of one of the hexagonal holes to the center of the next. It comes in 12″, 14″, 16″, 18″, 20″, 24″, 30″, 36″ and 48″ widths. Larger widths are custom orders and might not always be in stock. Please contact us with custom order requests at sales@peerlessrattan.com. Natural Mesh or “UNBLEACHED” is available in 18″ and 24″ widths. Unbleached mesh has more natural imperfections and variations in color. For chair seats and backs where there is a groove around the edge of the seat and the cane is held in place by spline. When ordering pressed cane, add two inches to the length and width or diameter for proper sizing. Tools needed include: spline chisel, 1 package of 5 caning wedges, glue, a sharp trimming tool and a small hammer. To determine the correct size of cane you need, measure the distance from the CENTER of one hole to the CENTER of the next hole. It will be 3/8″, 7/16″, 1/2″, 5/8″, 3/4″ or 1″. If you are in doubt about sizes, send a sample from the old chair & we will match it. This is sold BY THE FOOT. Type in the number of feet you want in the Quantity Box. It will come as ONE PIECE. If your quantity is “5”, you will receive ONE piece that is 5 feet long.
