Cicada Dry Fly

The  Cicada Dry Fly is a high-floating, foam-packed terrestrial designed for when the big bugs start crashing onto the water and everything with fins looks up. Built with a two-tone foam body, barred rubber legs, and a dense hair wing for lifelike profile, this pattern sits low, kicks water, and stays visible even in broken water or low light. Cicada patterns are famous for pulling trophy trout, hungry smallmouth, and even warmwater bass to the surface. This version keeps a compact, realistic body while riding high thanks to its stacked foam head — perfect for loud plops, slow drifts, and long float times. If you’re fishing summertime rivers, warmwater creeks, or anywhere cicadas hatch loud and heavy, this is the bug you want tied on.
