The DX3000 CL uses extra-thick 30 mm memory foam ear pads that maintain a secure seal while preserving adequate distance between your ears and the driver. Combined with a low-distortion driver and acoustic design that minimizes internal resonance, this results in rich bass and open, present mid–high frequencies. Washi + Carbon Composite Diaphragm The driver’s diaphragm uses a special composite material made by infusing carbon fiber into traditional Japanese Washi paper. This creates a lightweight, rigid, and responsive diaphragm with excellent internal damping. A “free-edge” design allows smooth diaphragm movement for cleaner, low-distortion sound, while a glass-fiber-reinforced resin front plate adds structural rigidity.
