Leisure Time Filter Clean | Cartridge Deep Soak

Leisure Time Filter Clean is a concentrated overnight-soak filter cleaning solution formulated for spa and hot tub cartridge filters. The liquid concentrate dilutes into a soaking bath that penetrates deep into pleated filter media — dissolving the body oils, lotion residue, sunscreen, sweat, grease, calcium scale, and mineral buildup that a garden hose rinse can't touch. One quart bottle is enough for multiple deep cleans, which is the maintenance task most hot tub owners skip the longest and pay for the most. Cartridge filters look clean after a hose rinse. They aren't. The pleated polyester or polypropylene fabric that filters your spa water is engineered with microscopic pores that trap particles 20 microns and smaller — and once those pores load up with oils, lotions, and dissolved organics, no amount of surface rinsing will get them out. A filter that looks clean from the outside can be operating at 30–50% of its rated capacity inside, which means cloudy water, higher sanitizer demand, and a spa that never quite gets "clear" no matter how much chemistry you add. Filter Clean fixes that. The soak-based formula gives active ingredients hours to penetrate the pleat depth and break down the contaminants chemical-rinse products can't reach. Used quarterly — typically aligned with each drain-and-refill cycle — Filter Clean restores filter cartridges to near-new performance, extends their usable life by months or years, and pays for itself many times over by delaying cartridge replacement. Pro Tip: The smart maintenance cadence is rinse weekly, spray monthly, deep-soak quarterly. Garden hose rinse every week to clear surface debris, a quick spray-on cleaner (like Leisure Time Instant Cartridge Clean) once a month to dissolve light surface oils, and a full overnight Filter Clean soak every 3–4 months at drain-and-refill. Owners who follow that pattern get 2–3 years out of cartridges that owners who only rinse get 6–8 months out of. Brand Leisure Time®
