Filson Swiftwater Rain Jacket

Upgraded for improved durability and sustainability with 100% recycled material. While some situations call for a weather-resistant, heavy-duty shell that stands up to briars, brush, and abrasion, our newly upgraded Swiftwater Rain Jacket is engineered for active uses that require lightweight, waterproof protection that can be pulled out instantly. The Swiftwater is very lightweight and packs into tight spaces, so it’s easy to stow in a backpack pocket or an upland hunting vest. The 2.5-layer shell fabric is made from 100% recycled 3.8-oz. ripstop nylon with a waterproof membrane laminated to its interior. The half-layer mesh grid printed on the interior protects the membrane from abrasion and wear. During active, high-exertion use, breathability is just as crucial as waterproofness, so the waterproof membrane is full of microscopic pores that allow vapors and heat to escape while blocking all water entry. The Swiftwater is fully seam-sealed to provide unfailing protection in the wettest conditions. To ensure that water stays on the outside, water-resistant AquaGuard® zippers from YKK® are used throughout. The front zipper features an interior storm flap and zipper garage to prevent neck-pinching. The Swiftwater is cut with plenty of room to add layers underneath in frigid weather and features a two-way drawcord-adjustable hood to help seal out wind and water. Velcro®-adjustable cuffs provide a custom fit. The Swiftwater is so compact that it can be quickly rolled up into its hood for ease of storage. The Swiftwater Rain Jacket provides waterproof protection, ready to pull out of your pack when the weather takes a turn.
