Film Locating Plate for Stretch Wrapper Machine

Overview The Film Locating Plate is a structural alignment component used in the film roll mounting system of stretch wrapper machines. Its primary function is to center and support the film core, ensuring precise roll alignment during installation and stable operation throughout the wrapping cycle. This molded part serves as a critical guide within the roll shaft or spindle assembly, helping maintain concentric positioning of the stretch film roll. Function Roll Centering and Alignment: The locating plate ensures that the film roll is properly seated and centered on the shaft, minimizing eccentric rotation and reducing mechanical strain. Support Interface Between Roll and Machine: Acts as a stabilizing interface between the film roll core and the machine’s support structure, contributing to consistent film feed and tensioning. Vibration Damping and Wear Buffer: Provides a protective buffer that absorbs minor impacts and reduces wear between the rotating film core and fixed mounting components.
