Spooler Max

Spooler Max begins shipping December 2025. Spooler Max is the ultimate filament winding solution. Designed for professional makerspaces, research facilities, and industrial production environments, it combines massive 10 kg spool capacity, precision touchscreen controls, and industrial-grade durability to keep your extrusion line running without interruption. Building on the trusted performance of the original Filabot Spooler, the Spooler Max delivers more capacity, more control, and more productivity, making it the ideal filament spooling system. Touchscreen Control The advanced touchscreen control panel puts every setting within reach. Adjust feed-rate, traverse speed, and spool torque instantly. This user-friendly interface makes it simple for operators to achieve consistent filament quality on any print job. 10 kg Spool Capacity Wind up to 10 kg of filament per spool, eliminating mid-print changes on massive builds. Perfect for large-format printers such as BigRep ONE, BigRep PRO, and Modix BIG-120X, where uptime and consistency are critical. Precision Traverse for Perfect Filament Layers An automated traverse system ensures even filament distribution across the spool, preventing tangles, uneven winding, and inconsistent extrusion. Variable-Speed Puller Fine-tune feedrate for different polymers, from flexible TPU to rigid PLA, ensuring stable filament diameter across long production runs. Integration Ready for Inline Filament Monitoring Compatible with the Filameasure diameter measurement device for precision QA. Real-time data is displayed and recorded via Filalogger software, enabling live monitoring and production traceability. Heavy-Duty Filament Winder Construction Full-metal, powder-coated frame, stainless steel drive components, and sealed bearings deliver years of continuous industrial use. Recommended Applications for the Filabot Spooler Max Large-Format 3D Printing – Keep industrial printers like BigRep ONE, BigRep PRO, and Modix BIG-120X running for multi-day prints without interruption. High-Volume Print Farms & Service Bureaus – Reduce downtime and operator labor with extended spool runs. Research Labs & Universities – Integrate Filameasure + Filalogger for documented extrusion quality in training, QA, and academic research. In-House Filament Production – Produce custom filament for printers like Raise3D Pro3 Plus or Ultimaker S5 with full control over material properties. Recycling & Circular-Economy Projects – Convert waste plastic into high-quality filament while logging production metrics.
