FILA-VA28 | MODE Audio Dual 8" 1400W Weatherproof Line Array Loudspeaker w/ Variable Waveguide, LAVOCE Neodymium Drivers, Bi-Amp Switchable, Black

The MODE Audio FILA-VA28 is a weatherproof, dual 8" passive line array loudspeaker engineered for high-output sound reinforcement. Equipped with dual LAVOCE 8" neodymium woofers and a 3" neodymium HF compression driver, it delivers an impressive 137 dB Max SPL with a frequency response of 70Hz–20kHz. A selectable Bi-Amp/Passive mode switch provides flexible system configuration. The 2-way bi-amp design handles LF 600W RMS / 1200W program power at 16Ω and HF 100W RMS / 200W program power at 16Ω, reducing distortion while maximizing driver efficiency for venues from indoor halls to outdoor events. Adaptability is built into every FILA-VA28. Choose from four selectable horizontal coverage patterns – 70° symmetrical, 110° symmetrical, and 90° asymmetrical left or right – to match a wide range of venue layouts while minimizing unwanted wall reflections. Combined with variable inter‑element angles adjustable in 1° increments from 0° to 10°, the system achieves ultra‑precise front‑to‑back SPL distribution, ensuring consistent, balanced sound coverage throughout the listening area. Built to withstand the rigors of the road, the FILA‑VA28 features an IP65 weatherized, dustproof enclosure constructed from polyvinyl board with a black DURA‑COAT protective finish that helps suppress cabinet resonance and unwanted vibrations, and is fronted with a durable aluminum grille for driver protection. Integrated aluminum handles enable easy portability for efficient setup and teardown. For larger deployments, the system supports ground-stacked or flown configurations when paired with the FILA-VA28FF multipurpose frame (sold separately), accommodating up to 16 line array speakers in suspended arrays. The FILA-VA28's weather-resistant design helps maintain reliable sound performance in various environments, while its rugged construction and flexible rigging make it well suited for both touring and fixed installations. Powered by Sound Town. FEATURES FILA-VA28 DUAL 8" PASSIVE LINE ARRAY LOUDSPEAKER: Equipped with dual LAVOCE 8" neodymium woofers and a 3" HF neodymium compression driver, delivering clear, high-fidelity sound for indoor and outdoor professional audio applications. 2-WAY BI-AMP SWITCHABLE DESIGN: Featuring a selectable Bi-Amp/Passive mode switch, the system offers flexible configuration options. In Bi-Amp mode, LF handles 600W RMS / 1200W program power at 16Ω and HF handles 100W RMS / 200W program power at 16Ω, dividing the frequency band to reduce distortion while maximizing driver efficiency. FLEXIBLE COVERAGE WITH VARIABLE WAVEGUIDE DIRECTIVITY: Choose from four selectable horizontal coverage patterns including 70° symmetrical, 110° symmetrical, and 90° asymmetrical left or right, to adapt to virtually any venue shape. Combined with variable inter-element angles from 0° to 10° (in 1° increments), the system delivers ultra‑precise front‑to‑back SPL distribution, ensuring the listening area receives consistent, balanced sound. IP65 WEATHER-RESISTANT CONSTRUCTION: Housed in a rugged, IP65 polyvinyl enclosure, the FILA-VA28 features a black DURA-COAT protective finish and a heavy-duty aluminum grille. An all-weather, dustproof design protects against moisture and environmental exposure while suppressing cabinet resonance and unwanted vibrations. Integrated aluminum handles enable easy portability.  VERSATILE APPLICATIONS: When paired with the FILA-VA28FF multipurpose frame (sold separately), the system supports ground-stacked or flown configurations, accommodating up to 16 line array speakers in suspended arrays. From indoor halls to outdoor events, the FILA‑VA28 delivers powerful, high‑fidelity full‑range sound that can adapt to many environments.
