FiiO's K13 is Built Around the Latest Generation of Dual ESS Flagship DACs Dual Flagship ESS ES9039Q2M Fully Balanced Amplifier Architecture Up to 2400mW + 2400mW Output Power DC/AC Dual Power Supplies Flagship DACs The K13 is equipped with dual ESS latest-generation flagship DACs. It uses ESS’s patented fourth-generation 32-bit HyperStream architecture for higher performance and lower power consumption, while further reducing digital noise inside the DAC. The result is a richer musical presentation and a cleaner, darker background. Fully Balanced Amp Circuit The entire audio chain, including the DAC, I/V conversion, LPF, preamp buffer, and headphone amp, uses fully differential signal processing for excellent interference rejection, minimal distortion, and high dynamic range. The amplification circuit also features gain control, professional headphone protection mechanisms, and POP noise elimination for a robust and reliable audio experience. Auto EQ Support The K13, with the help of the XMOS XU316 platform, features specially-developed PEQ, with support for 10 frequency band adjustments across all working modes. With FIIO's proprietary tuning algorithm, accessible through its app or web interface, you can match your ideal headphone curve with one tap, then fine-tune it further. Desktop Decoding Hub With a wide variety of inputs and outputs, this unit functions as both a preamplifier and a power amplifier, catering to various listening preferences. It also supports PCM 768kHz/32bit and DSD512 decoding, allowing it to effortlessly process high-resolution audio signals to deliver rich sonic detail and for an outstanding listening experience. Dual Power Supplies The K13 features a built-in 30W (12V, 2.5A) industrial-and instrumentation-grade power module with low noise, high efficiency, and long service life, delivering clean, abundant power to the circuitry. Additionally, it also provides an external DC power input*, allowing you to pair it with a higher-performance linear power supply for a different sound experience. *Supported external DC power supply specifications are 12V, 2.5A (or greater than 2.5A) with a 5.5*2.1mm connector, such as FIIO’s new linear power supply, DARKSIDE PRO. Perfect Performance Three Gain Levels, Three Independent Volume Curves Different gain levels mean the K13 is better able to adapt to various kinds of IEMs and headphones for better listening experiences. Moreover, volumes of PO and PRE can be memorized independently. Overheating Protection Protection mechanisms will automatically kick in when abnormal operating conditions are detected to avoid damage to the unit, making it safer to use. Adjustable RGB Lighting Not only does the RGB lighting indicate the current audio sampling rate, but you can also customize the brightness, colors, and whether it pulses or not.
