Figure Split Consciousness

A Figure Pulled ApartA black silhouette stands against warm ochre-gold, no features, just presence. A fracture runs from crown to collar, and a horizontal band of cream and soft lavender slides across where the eyes belong. Left and right stop lining up. The longer you look, the less it resolves, and that's the point. The brushwork stays loose and built up in layers, sitting right on the line between a portrait and pure abstraction. On a vertical canvas it reads well above a console or a reading chair, and the black-and-gold palette holds its own in a modern living room, lounge, or home office. Pairs well with Abstract Wall Art, Living Room Wall Art and Home Office Wall Art. --- A Portrait That Won't Sit StillBlack against gold, cracked straight down the middle, with a pale band blanking out the eyes. It keeps shifting on you, half figure and half abstraction, and it stays with you after you walk away.
