Fierce IV

Fierce IV concludes Migle Kosinskaite’s remarkable exploration of embodiment with quiet authority. The figure stands in full acceptance of duality - part creature, part human, both witness and myth. The markings across the back no longer appear imposed but inherent, as if the transformation is complete. Kosinskaite’s palette here deepens into warmer earth tones, suggesting reconciliation rather than conflict. The body, rendered with meditative precision, emanates calm strength. It is not about seduction or defiance but about the silent dignity of self-knowledge. In Fierce IV, the artist completes the circle begun with Fierce I, II, and III. Together, these works transcend portraiture to become an allegory of identity itself - a journey through instinct, memory, and evolution toward an elemental kind of freedom.
