Geometric Argyle Self-Tie Bow Tie & Pocket Square Set

This bow tie is what happens when “classic” gets a little louder. Clean argyle diamonds jump across the fabric in unmistakable color combos—burgundy and grey, bold purple and orange mixes, electric blues and greens—giving you a sharp grid of color that looks intentional, not gimmicky. It’s a true self-tie, so your knot will always look like yours, not like a clip-on copy. The matching pocket square locks the look together in one move, whether you’re in a navy suit at a wedding or a blazer and jeans at a rooftop bar. Why You’ll Love It Argyle with attitude – Traditional pattern, modern color pairings that actually get noticed. Self-tie only – Because you’re not afraid of tying your own knot. Built-in outfit plan – Matching square means your top half is sorted in about 10 seconds. Works across seasons – Deep burgundies for fall, aqua and yellow for spring and summer, blues and greys for all year. Style & Outfit Guidance Recommended Dress Shirts Crisp white dress shirt Clean backdrop that lets any of the argyle colorways hit properly. Ideal with: burgundy/grey, purple/blue, grey/blue/orange, aqua/purple. Light blue dress shirt Softens the contrast and leans a bit more relaxed. Strong with: blue/yellow/green, grey/blue/orange, yellow/light blue/orange. Pale lavender or soft purple shirt Quietly pulls purple tones forward. Perfect for: grey/purple/orange/black, purple/blue, aqua/purple. Light grey dress shirt Modern and minimal; lets the pattern do the work. Great for: burgundy/grey, orange/grey/dark blue, green/blue/yellow. Recommended Suits & Jackets Navy blue suit The go-to pairing for most colorways. Try with: Burgundy/grey for a rich, classic vibe. Purple/blue or aqua/purple when you’re in the mood for more color. Grey/blue/orange for a subtle pop that still feels tailored. Charcoal or mid-grey suit Smooth, serious background that lets the argyle stand out. Excellent with: burgundy/grey, grey/purple/orange/black, orange/grey/dark blue. Black suit Higher contrast and a bit sharper. Works well with: grey/purple/orange/black, orange/grey/dark blue, purple/blue. Patterned or textured jackets (tweed, checks, flannel) Pair with the more restrained combos like burgundy/grey or grey/blue/orange. Keep the shirt simple and let the bow tie be the only loud pattern. Recommended Shoes Black cap-toe or whole-cut oxfords – Best with black and charcoal suits for events and dressy evenings. Dark brown oxfords or derbies – Perfect with navy and mid-grey suits for office days and weddings. Burgundy dress shoes – Look especially good with burgundy/grey, purple/blue, and aqua/purple colorways. Brown loafers – Great with blazers and trousers at parties, dinners, and more relaxed dress codes.
