6" Ficus Tineke

6” Ficus ‘Tineke’ is a striking variegated rubber tree with thick, glossy leaves marbled in creamy white, soft green, and hints of blush. Each leaf is uniquely patterned, making it a bright statement piece. A cultivar of Ficus elastica, it’s bold but easy to care for with the right light. 🌿 Growth Habit: Upright, sturdy stems ☀️ Light: Bright, indirect light 💧 Water: Let top 1–2” dry between waterings 🌱 Uses: Statement plant, bright interiors Best Room: Living room, office, or sunroom near filtered east or south light. Draft Sensitive: Yes — avoid cold windows, doors, and vents (keep above 60°F). Needs Water: Drooping or slightly limp leaves, dry soil deep in pot. Overwatered = yellowing with soggy soil. Light Issues: More light needed → fading variegation, slow growth. Too much direct sun → brown or bleached patches.
