Ficus Benjamin

Ficus benjamina, commonly known as Weeping Fig, is a popular houseplant admired for its graceful, arching branches and glossy, deep green leaves. This elegant tree adds a touch of sophistication to any indoor space and can grow into a stunning focal point in your home or office. Light Needs: Weeping Figs thrive in bright, indirect light. They prefer a spot near a window where they can receive plenty of filtered sunlight. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight, as this can cause leaf burn, or in low-light conditions, which can lead to leaf drop. Water Needs: Keep the soil of your Ficus benjamina consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water the plant thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch, allowing excess water to drain away. Be careful not to let the plant sit in standing water, as this can lead to root rot. Humidity Needs: Ficus benjamina prefers moderate to high humidity levels. Aim for humidity around 50-60%. Increase humidity by misting the leaves regularly, using a humidity tray, or placing a humidifier nearby.
