Fety Anjara

The subtle colours of nude pink and khaki are set in bayadère stripes on the raffia of the Anjara scented candle. Hand-crocheted by the women of Madagascar, this candle becomes a festive and delicate decorative object. A black embroidered side ruffle gives the scented object the look of a fashion accessory. Anjara means «to share» in Malagasy. Orchid - Salt flower - Ylang-Ylang Its summer fragrance of orchid and ylang-ylang transports you to the magic of the beaches, where the sea air blends with the scent of suntan oil. The quality of our scented candles involves a specific burning ritual. Each time the candle is burnt, it is important to wait until the entire surface liquefies before extinguishing the candle. This will prevent the formation of craters which are unattractive and make burning more difficult. The first time you light your candle, it will always burn for longer than on subsequent occasions. Allow time for the first layer of wax to liquefy completely. The length of time this takes varies depending on the size of the candle. Never burn the last 1cm (1/2 inch) of wax to avoid flames burning against the glass.
