Fête

Giclee canvas print (2 pieces, 42hx26w" each / 42x55x1.5" together, including 3" gap but not including frames), hand-varnished with palette knife finish, framed in white gloss floating frame. A rhythmic diptych celebrating movement and light, Fete presents a festive landscape of translucent, ribbon-like strokes. These indigo and magenta "confetti" forms act as a fractured veil, their varying levels of transparency alternately hiding and revealing the luminous space beneath, with background highlights in transparent pearl popping through. By reining in the high-energy bursts of color into a vertical, structured dance, the piece explores that joyful moment where individual elements overlap to create a unified, celebratory atmosphere beyond the immediate surface.
