Fennec Foxes - 192 pcs - Good Luck Minis®

Fennec Foxes are small foxes with very large ears that are found only in the Sahara Desert in Africa. They are the smallest species in the family Canidae, which includes foxes, wolves, coyotes and wild dogs. Put some of these cuties in your pocket, or use them as decorations or giveaways at events and parties! History: The Fennec Fox gets its name from the Berber word “fanak”, which means “fox”. This desert-dwelling mammal is recognized by its disproportionately large ears, which are the largest of all foxes in relation to their body size. The ears are full of blood vessels, which helps them regulate their body temperature in the hot desert environment. Scientific Name: Vulpes zerda Characteristics: This tiny Fennec Fox mini figure is looking quizzically to the left, with its large ears perked as if it’s just heard something.
