Fenix 18650 Rechargeable Batteries

18650 rechargeable batteries are high-capacity batteries used in lighting products. The 18650 battery is a great alternative for products that utilize 2xCR123A disposable batteries. Not only are you being environmentally friendly by eliminating disposable batteries, but the 18650 battery also provides different levels of capacity for your exact need and is rechargeable. For example, you can get 30% more capacity out of a ARB-L18-3500 compared to a ARB-L18-2600. In addition, Fenix batteries are built with safety in mind. There are built in features to prevent short circuits, design multiple layers of protection and the new button-top design. The high capacity 18650 Li-ion rechargeable batteries each provide protection circuits in the anode to help prevent short circuits, over charge/discharge and over heating. Each 18650 battery also includes pressure relief vents which expel waste gas in the rare case of an internal short circuit preventing an explosion. Fenix’s 18650 batteries have a guaranteed lifespan of 500 charge cycles. This means that the battery will recharge to at least 75% of its original battery capacity 500 times over. Compared to single-use batteries, rechargeable batteries are both cost-efficient and more useful for the consumer, offering extended runtimes and capacity on a single charge. Not only that, they are also beneficial to the environment by limiting the amount of single-use products and discarded chemicals. Overall, Fenix’s 18650 batteries offer a safe, time and cost-effective solution for anyone looking to power their high-lumen flashlights. Always make sure to purchase li-ion batteries from an established and trusted distributor to avoid purchasing faulty, potentially dangerous products. The USB versions will work in all of the current models that utilize a li-ion 18650 battery—in older Fenix lights these may not work. A micro-USB charging cord is NOT included with the USB versions.
