Fencepost Jay

A Crested Bird Ablaze With ColorA jay perches on a weathered fencepost, its plumage a riot of orange, crimson, and electric blue, crowned with a spray of green feathers. Behind it, a golden halo of sun hangs over a field flushed magenta and pink, while a curling tree stretches into a turquoise sky. The brushwork is loose and expressive, thick with saturated pigment. It's post-impressionist energy pushed into pure fantasy, warm and slightly surreal. This piece fits naturally alongside our Animals and Contemporary Art collections, and its dreamlike glow feels right at home in Surrealist Art too. --- Bright Bird, Wild PaletteA crested jay lit up in orange and blue sits on an old fence rail. Behind it, a sun-halo burns over fields of pink. Bold color, thick paint, a little bit dreamlike.
