The description of the Female Servant to Hecuba is as follows: An anonymous character of low social status, the Servant is not given a lot of “personality,” but she is present for the stunning moment when the corpse she has brought from the shore is unveiled and Hecuba realizes that it is not Polyxena, but her cherished youngest son Polydorus, last hope of the Trojan royal family. Image: Servant. Delivers the body of Polydorus to Hecuba – this character is there to witness Hecuba’s realization that it is NOT Polyxena but Polydorus, her son, whom she does not know has been killed. There is a calmness to the servant character in the delivery of the body. This greek theatre mask is made out of neoprene and has an adjustable strap.
