This version in Walnut features a removable flat braided and waxed cotton cord that can be used to tie under the chin or for hanging the hat loosely onto your back. Handmade of 100% soft, flexible wool and a not too short, not too wide, raw edge brim that feels both slightly dressed up and unfussy at the same time. Naturally insulating, water-and-stain repellent, they’re a great accompaniment through the colder seasons. Can be used a a packable, crushable hat. Made by hand in Ecuador, with the same milliners we work with for our straw hats. We are proud to make in this region—home to some of the finest milliners and weavers in the world.
