Feather Falls™ Sedge Grass

Need a year-round little charmer to add texture, shape, and personality to your landscape? We have the ornamental grass for you! Feather Falls™ Sedge Grass (Carex x 'ET CRX01') forms a beautiful cascading fountain of variegated blades. This easy-care plant will work in so many different areas of your landscape. Feather Falls™ is a compact plant with a height of 12-18 inches and a width of 2-3 feet. This grass is very well-behaved and non-spreading so you won't have to worry about this coming up in your landscape where you don't want it. The unique blooms emerge in late spring to early summer and add interest and texture to the flowing form of these two-tone fountains. Feather Falls™ can be evergreen in the warmer USDA hardiness zones 5-9, but are hardy perennials throughout the cooler of its favored growing zones. Highly adaptable in a wide range of sun availability and soil types, these are very low-maintenance and easy-care plants! Planting and Application: Perfect for those containers on your patio or by your front door. Add Feather Falls™ to a container and they will complement the arrangement of colorful plants. Let these graceful flowing grasses drape over planter edges, and window boxes, or soften the tops of retaining walls and slopes. Highly drought tolerant once established, Sedges are as adept in the Rock Garden as they are around a water feature, rain garden, or stream! If you want to make a bold statement, plant several together and watch the magic grow. Use in borders, containers, edging, massed, and woodland gardens. Thriving in sun or shade makes this grass a very versatile plant! Add soft, rustling grasses around meditation and seating areas to help whisk away your worries and soothe you after a long day. Green & Gold Striped Leaves Blooms Late Spring-Early Summer Beautiful Variegated Foliage Easy to Care For Cascading Perennial Grass - Edging, Containers, Borders & Accent #ProPlantTips for Care: For the best growth possible, plant Carex in well-drained, moist soil with full sun. Hotter climates will find their grass appreciates some afternoon or partial shade in the hot summer months. The clumps can be divided in early spring on this evergreen grass. If the leaves are wind-burned or tattered over winter, you can cut out any individual damaged leaves. If there are many brown leaves, it is easier to grab all of the stems in a bundle and cut them off at 2 inches or so. Removing all of the old foliage allows them to regrow from the roots. Feather Falls™ is so easy to take care of with its resistance to deer and rabbits, as well as its drought tolerance! Full Sun & Partial Shade Moist to Average Well-Drained Soil Prune/Clean Mounds Early Spring Drought Tolerant Root System Once Established Deer & Rabbit Resistant Light as a feather! You'll be glad you chose this graceful, elegant, and flowing ornamental grass for your landscape or container gardens!
