Feather Block

Use this fabulous feather block to accessorize your Cloud Club birds and expand options for a quilt. Or just use it as a gorgeous single embroidery design! Stitch the fully colored version or make accessory blocks quickly by simply quilting them. The Feather Quilt Block allows more even creativity in Cloud Club project construction. Instead of stitching bird blocks right next to each other, you can alternate them with feather blocks as shown in the photos to make a bigger overall piece. By using the blocks with the quilting only (no extra colors), you can draw more attention to the color in the birds. You can also rotate the blocks or flip them using the features of your embroidery machine-- this creates movement within your piece. The sky is the limit… use your imagination to make these beautiful designs your own! Note that the layouts show the triangle feather blocks from our Cloud Club Finishing Kit and also the bird blocks which are all an additional purchases. Quilt-as-You-Go: Make a gorgeus block completely quilted in-the-hoop... save up your creations to join them together by hand or machine. 5”, 6”, 7” and 8” sizes are included in this set to match your bird block size.  All-in-The-Hoop This is the same design, but with a satin stitch border added around the edges, so all you'll need to do is to zig zag stitch them together. It is also quilted in the hoop. 5”, 6”, 7” and 8” sizes are included in this set to match your bird block size. Browse through the other birds in our series, including a finishing kit to use with the feather block for endless variations of project sizes.
