Fear the Gator

University of Florida Gainesville, Florida  Unframed: 25½" x 14¼" Framed: 30" x 19" Hand rendered in intricate detail Fear the Gator honors the University of Florida's five national championships; three in football — 1996, 2006, and 2008, and in basketball, back-to-back 2006 and 2007 and in 2025. Capturing the character and brute power of such a symbolic creature is not an easy undertaking. With a secure eye and a steady hand, Malkoff delivers a fearless, confident and poised-to-attack gator. This icon of athletic prowess seems ready to come off the artists canvas to take on his next challenger. For Fear the Gator, artist Stephen Malkoff designed the gator hide wooden frame and the triple matting in traditional school colors to complement this print.
