The Al Merrick template has a wide base for drive off the bottom, more rake for big carves, a finer tip for release off the top, and the signature smaller center fin frees up the tail. Performance Core (PC) fins are made using a multi-layered resin transfer molding process. The flex pattern in PC fins extends progressively from the base through to the tip, helping the surfer to maintain drive and hold through a turn. This versatile fin material is light, and can be used in a variety of different conditions. Comes with 5 fins so you can ride as a thruster or a quad!  The 5 fin set allows you to customize the performance of your board.  The thruster offers exceptional drive off the bottom and quick tail release, the quad set is ideal for riding the barrel and smooth carves on the open face.
