Choose the 6 ft leash for most shortboards and the 7 ft leash for slightly longer boards or when you want extra distance between you and your board after a fall. How It Compares Compared to a basic urethane leash, the FCS Freedom Helix All Round Leash adds a bio-resin Helix cord, shock-absorbing construction, titanium swivels, and a lighter, lower-profile cuff. Compared to a comp leash, the 6.5mm all-round cord provides more everyday strength for a wider range of surf conditions. Bottom Line: The FCS Freedom Helix All Round Leash is a premium everyday surf leash built for surfers who want lightweight performance, durable strength, reduced drag, and dependable hold in waves up to 8 feet.
