🏒 FBV Sharpening - Hockey Maximum glide with precision bite. Flat Bottom V (FBV) sharpening offers a modern alternative to traditional hollow grinding. Instead of the standard concave hollow, FBV creates a flat center with two sharp edges—maximizing your blade's contact with the ice while maintaining bite and control. FBV is popular with players seeking more glide without sacrificing edge responsiveness. Benefits of FBV: • Enhanced glide across the ice • Precise edge definition • Excellent blade contact for acceleration • Popular with competitive players Available FBV Profiles: We offer multiple FBV profile options to match your skating style and preferences. Ask about availability during booking. Not Sure If FBV Is For You? Our Blade Health Check & Consultation ($15) can help you determine if FBV or traditional ROH sharpening is the better choice for your game.
