fauxfire #26

Okay, so: it turns out fluorite is a PAIN IN THE BACKSIDE to photograph under UV, because it fluoresces a particular shade of purple-blue that cameras can’t capture accurately. I was able to get pretty close by not shining the light directly on these pieces, but what you’ll see when you look at them under UV will be a bit different. On this pair it’s darker than the second photo, but not nearly as dark as the third. (Look through your phone’s camera when you get them and you’ll see what I mean.) Yellow-green, yellow, and clear fluorite.  One of a kind. Fluorite is fragile so plan to handle gently and store them where they won’t get banged around by other jewelry. Sterling silver earwires unless you opt to upgrade to something else.         This is part of the fauxfire collection - 80 uv-reactive or glow-in-the-dark shinies! All of the UV-reactive pieces will react under 365nm UV light; some will react differently or not at all under 395nm UV light. Want to add a set of UV flashlights to your order?
