Faucet Lamp (Blue) — Blanca Codina × Common Things

A faucet that pours light instead of water. Blanca Codina’s Faucet Lamp preserves the familiar curve of a tap and redirects its purpose—touch to glow—turning an everyday silhouette into a small ritual of wonder. Our Common Things special edition in CT Blue brings a wink of humor and quiet elegance to living rooms, bedside tables, and work nooks alike. Designed with the clarity of a line drawing and the warmth of a good habit, Faucet Lamp invites you to notice the ordinary again: on/off becomes a gesture; utility becomes story. It’s Cultivation No. 01, the first completed project from our Cultivation Program—our commitment to help designers move ideas from sketch to shelf. Familiar form, new behavior: a faucet that lights with a touch Playful, sculptural presence—reads as object and lamp Special blue edition, exclusive to Common Things Dimensions Overall (assembled): 37 H × 19 L × 12 W cm (≈ 14.6 × 7.5 × 4.7 in) Blanca Codina works across product, furniture, and lighting; her practice has been recognized by NYCxDesign, Core77, iF, and LIT Design Awards, and she co-founded Souper Studio—proof that design grows in community.
