Saturn's Core Audio & Video is a New Jersey based home video label devoted to releasing underground oddities and shot on video cinema on VHS, and now, blu-ray discs! In partnership with OCN Distribution, Saturn's Core will exhume forgotten or under-seen genre cinema from the 80s and 90s, with an emphasis on SOV horror features. Vinegar Syndrome’s sister company, OCN Distribution, is thrilled to be representing this diverse and unique home video line! Deranged Vietnam vet David Kates (Sal Longo) suffers from flashbacks of the atrocities he endured during the war; savagely murdering and mutilating innocent brunette women who resemble the enemy Major who tortured his brigade. Shortly after being captured and imprisoned for his crimes, Kates escapes from prison, murders his vacationing jailhouse shrink, and assumes his identity. Now masquerading as a psychologist, Kates infiltrates the police department and offers his assistance in helping to capture the escaped serial killer who’s dismembering local women. Unfortunately for the police, the doctor they’re collaborating with is the actual lunatic they’re in search of…and his delusion means death for everyone!  A gory, mean spirited SOV slasher epic from New Jersey’s “custom movie” purveyors W.A.V.E. Productions, Fatal Delusion marked the first ever on screen performances from legendary scream queens Tina Krause (Limbo, Bad Biology) and Deana Demko (The Ironbound Vampire, Sorority Slaughter) plus supporting appearances by Laura Giglio (An Ex-Hookers Christmas Carol), Dawn Murphy (Backwoods Marcy), Clancy McCauley (Dead North), and Michelle Caporaletti (Hung Jury). Notable for featuring murder scenes shot in the hallways and courtyards of NJ’s Chiller Theatre and Baltimore’s Fanex conventions back in 1994, Fatal Delusion presents a staggering analog panorama of bathtub autopsies, chainsaw disembowelings, incessant shower scenes, puffy neon fashions, and entrail toilet flushing. directed by: Sal Longo & Gary Whitson starring: Tina Krause, Deana Demko, Sal Longo, Laura Giglio, Dawn Murphy 1995 / 104 min / 1.33:1 / English DTS-HD MA 2.0 Additional info: Region Free Blu-ray New transfer from the original SVHS master tapes Audio commentary with W.A.V.E. founder Gary Whitson and actress Laura Giglio moderated by Ross Snyder of Saturn’s Core Audio commentary with Richard Mogg, Author of Analog Nightmares: The Shot on Video Horror Films of 1982-1995 “No Delusions” -a new interview with actress Deana Demko Extended Tina Krause death sequence Early 1994 archival interview with actress Tina Krause discussing “The Shrink” which later became Fatal Delusion BONUS MOVIE: VIRGIN SACRIFICES (1996) -Gary Whitson’s demonic sacrifice / mud-wrestling epic featuring Fatal Delusion stars Tina Krause, Deana Demko, Laura Giglio, Dawn Murphy, & Sal Longo (90 min.) “The Hypnotic Spy” (1997) -custom spy short starring Tina Krause, Deana Demko, & Dawn Murphy from Fatal Delusion Archival Tina Krause hair-brushing custom short Reversible sleeve featuring photography by Michael Enoches English SDH subtitles
