Fat Albert Blue Spruce

Why it rocks: Fat Albert Blue Spruce is another Colorado Blue Spruce variety, introduced by Jean Iseli of Iseli Nursery. Sought after for its consistent bright blue needles, its mature shape, and dwarf growth habit. Fat Albert Spruce is smaller, more narrow, and pyramidal than its parent. Where to put it: Fat Albert Blue Spruce may be useful in smaller landscapes because of its compact size. This tree will be the perfect accent for your small garden, landscape bed, or berm. Plant this tree anywhere you want to add a beautiful splash of color! It will be a place for the eye to rest in your landscape backdrop. Alternatively, this tree is tough enough to be used for windbreaks. What it needs: Fat Albert Blue Spruce prefers full sun. Be sure to follow our tree care instructions for the first few growing seasons until the root system is well-established.
