Tillman’s Meats Fast Cure Curing Salt is ideal for curing all types of meats. Our 4oz package is enough for 100lbs of meat, so you don’t need a lot! Used mainly for making curing or bringing solutions as well as dry curing. Sometimes referred to as Prague Powder #1 or Pink Curing Salt #1, Tillman’s Fast Cure is made up of 6.25% Sodium Nitrite and 93.75% Sodium Chloride or table salt. Curing meats is best suited when smoking pork and poultry, as it adds moisture and flavor.
