If you have a telescope with 235–240 mm tube outer diameter, this filter will fit. Use our Solar Filter Finder to confirm fit by your specific scope model or measured tube OD. Safe Solar ViewingNever look at the Sun through a telescope without a properly mounted, certified solar filter. Unfiltered solar light causes instant, permanent eye damage. Inspect your filter for pinholes, scratches, or film separations before every use, and discard immediately if any damage is found. Confirm the ultra-adhesive hook-and-loop straps hold the filter firmly in place and cannot work loose before pointing at the Sun. Installation & CarePlace the filter over the front of your telescope, wrap the ultra-adhesive hook-and-loop straps around the tube, and press firmly to engage the adhesive. The filter should be firmly seated and cannot wobble or rotate when properly mounted. Always inspect the filter before each viewing session. Store flat in a clean, dry place when not in use. With proper care, the solar film maintains optical quality for many years of safe observation. Browse the full SSF Solar Filter collection.
