The Faro Collections

Faro is a beautiful 6/1 wool yarn produced by Glimakra of Sweden that is perfect for tapestry weaving. This yarn is fine but strong, which makes it great for combining strands together to get wonderful color blends. Because tapestry often requires a relatively small amount of many different colors, we've chosen 55 colors of Faro and wound smaller amounts onto bobbins that can either be purchased individually or in one of two sets. Both The Original Collection of 40 colors and The Supplementary Collection of 15 colors (new March 2025) comes in 12 or 24 yard bobbins. Individual bobbins sold here. 100% wool
