Polished Fancy Blue Apatite Cabochons - Choose your quantity! Uniqueness Guaranteed: Every item is one-of-a-kind, making them ideal for all projects or designs. Avg Size Range: (1 to 1.75 Inches Long) Apatite comes from the Greek word apatáō, meaning "to deceive," because in its raw form it is very easy to mistake it for other minerals. Gem-quality apatite is less common, and most apatite is used to make phosphate for fertilizer or as a source of rare-earth metals like uranium and thorium. Handmade items vary in size, shape, and color when selected randomly (the highest quality items are chosen first). They'll be as beautiful as those in the photos.
