Purple coneflower, false foxglove, and common chicory aren’t spring’s showpieces, but they carry their own kind of presence—steady, resilient, and unexpectedly striking when everything else starts to fade. Illustrated by Jennifer Farrell of Starshaped Press, each bloom is rendered in the decorative style of early 20th-century publishers’ bindings, giving the set a vintage, almost archival feel. The artwork is paired with subtle metallic printing on textured “Midnight Blue” covers, creating a finish that feels like an old cloth-bound book pulled from a well-loved shelf.
