FactionFab Full Brake Kit Combo Front - 2008-2017 STI

This convenient kit includes the following FRONT brake parts with an extra 10% discount compared to purchasing them separately! 2 Rotors 1 Set of Pads 1 Pair of Brake Lines 1 Set of Titanium Shims BRAKE PADS: FactionFab V2 Brake Pads are engineered for enthusiasts who demand a consistent, reliable, and well-rounded braking experience. Designed with a focus on daily driving, autoX, and light track days, these pads offer exceptional modulation, predictable thermal performance, and low noise characteristics. Our V2 pads utilize a semi-metallic compound designed to excel in heat management. Unlike organic or ceramic pads, which tend to hold onto heat due to their resin content, our semi-metallic formula dissipates heat quickly and efficiently thanks to its metal compositional makeup. With the V2 pads, you’ll experience consistent braking power and reliable performance, even under demanding conditions. FEATURES: Semi-Metallic Compound: Balanced for aggressive street driving and auto-x, and designed to dissipate heat quickly, even under stress Performance: “Stage 1” pad with a 0.39µ average coefficient for dependable stopping power with a 0.44µ at cold temps (ideal for autoX and daily driving). All-Weather Reliability: Strong low-temperature performance ensures safety in varying driving conditions Thermal Stability: Smooth and predictable overheating characteristics under high-stress driving scenarios. Textured Steel Shims: Enhanced heat dissipation and grease retention for prolonged pad life. Precision Fitment: OE-spec backing plates, gas slots, and chamfers ensure a perfect fit and reduced vibration. Laser-Cut Backing Plates: Precision-engineered for noise reduction and durability. Hardware Included: Spring clips, pins, and other components included depending on the application. BRAKE ROTORS: FactionFab V2 Brake Rotors deliver the ultimate combination of performance, reliability, and affordability for your vehicle’s braking system. Engineered to significantly enhance braking performance, these rotors feature premium G11H18 high carbon iron alloy construction for optimal heat dissipation, reduced vibration, and improved braking consistency. The rotors are precision-machined using advanced double-disc grinding for accurate thickness, exceptional surface finish, and optimal braking feel. Each rotor is meticulously mill balanced, ensuring smooth and vibration-free operation. Our unique F-design slots effectively evacuate brake dust and gases, further improving braking efficiency and maintaining consistent performance under extreme conditions. Every FactionFab V2 Brake Rotor features a full Geomet zinc coating applied both inside and out, offering excellent corrosion resistance to maintain superior appearance and performance over time. Dual drilled for 5x100 and 5x114 fitments (depending on your specific application), these rotors also include threaded M8 removal holes for easy servicing and maintenance. Stamped clearly on the outer edge, each rotor displays its part number and minimum thickness for convenient reference. FEATURES: High-quality G11H18 grade high carbon iron alloy Precision F-design slotted for improved braking Full Geomet zinc coating inside and out Dual drilled for 5x100 and 5x114 applications Convenient threaded M8 removal holes Stamped part number and minimum thickness clearly indicated Bi-directional design fits left or right sid Double-disc ground for accurate thickness and finish Mill balanced for a smooth, vibration-free ride BRAKE LINES: These have been designed to improve your braking response by replacing your factory rubber lines that can be soft and expand over time. With stainless steel, you get a more direct response straight from the brake pedal to the caliper, inspiring confidence in your braking system while improving stopping performance. Here are the details. FEATURES: Stainless steel precision machined fittings for perfect fit and corrosion resistance PTFE Teflon inner liner to carry the fluid Stainless steel woven middle layer for support of the inner liner Abrasion-resistant, impact-resistant Outer PCV clear abrasion resistant coating to aid in chaffing and protects the inner layers and stress relief at fitting locations Each line is 4500psi burst pressure tested Increased pedal feedback as a result of elimination of soft rubber lines which are prone to swelling and deforming 100% model specific for perfect fitment Includes hardware TITANIUM SHIMS: There are many variables to consider when participating in a track or autocross event. One of the most important aspects is your braking system and the stopping power available at any given time. Proper braking is crucial for safety and performance. Aggressive driving generates significant heat in your braking system due to frequent and intense use. Problems arise when that heat transfers into your brake calipers, causing them to overheat. When this happens, the fluid inside your calipers can reach its maximum temperature and start to boil. This boiling fluid can lead to brake fade, reducing the effectiveness of your braking system and potentially creating dangerous situations on the track. One solution is to place a thermal barrier between the back of the pad and the caliper piston, which slows the transfer of heat into the caliper and fluid. FactionFab Titanium Brake Shims do just that. Available for a wide range of Subaru applications, FactionFab Brake Shims are an easy way to protect against fading brakes and potential brake failure. Titanium has very low heat conductivity compared to steel, and placing a thin 1.0mm piece of titanium between the two surfaces insulates and dissipates heat faster than steel shims. This simple mod increases your brake performance while qualifying for almost all *SCCA and *NASA classes. If you want more hot laps on your track sessions while extending brake pad life, FactionFab Titanium Brake Shims are exactly what you need. *Check official SCCA and NASA rules FEATURES: 4 Shims included in each kit Made of 6AL-4V / Grade 5 Titanium, which has very low heat conductivity compared to steel. Shims are 1.0mm thick (better insulation compared to the 0.5mm thick competitors) Acts as a thermal barrier to reduce heat transfer from the brake pad to the caliper piston. Helps prevent brake fade and potential brake failure, extending brake pad life and improving performance on the track.
