F3 Form Mount Computer Mount

Aesthetes, design nerds, drag-shavers have mixed feelings about out-front computer mounts. They de-clutter the bars, they put the computer in an easier position to see, and they are more aero. But they still don’t balance the bars, get in the way of cabling, and can’t always be centered. F3 Cycling has the answer. The Form Mount Computer Mount. The Form Mount is the base unit, if you will, and it can work with Garmin, Wahoo, Hammerhead Karoo, Omata, and Sigma Sport computers. The kit consists of two sets of extra-long stainless steel M5 faceplate bolts, two anodized aluminum spacers, two carbon-filled polymeric arms that have stainless steel inserts where they meet the bolt, and a mount that secures to the base via a hex head bolts. The arms are long enough that you have fore-aft adjustability so you can get the computer as close to your stem as your want. The nature of the angled arms effectively gives you four different positions to mount your computer, two when you use the lower faceplate bolts and two when you use the upper bolts. The only major limiter is the distance between the stem bolts. This mount works with the bolts as close as 16mm and as far apart as 41mm. Compatible stems also need to use M5 bolts to secure the faceplate and have a parallel bolt axis. When installing this, you’re removing two M5 bolts from your current faceplate and installing one set of Form Mount’s bolts in their place. The mount also can have a GoPro-style accessory for a camera or light mounted underneath. And there is a phone mount to replace the computer mount. Weight for the Form Mount Computer Mount is 24.89g.
