F12 Micro Linear Actuators

They’re small, light, quiet, and very durable. Ideal for applications where limited space is a necessity and little force is required. The F12 Micro Linear Actuator is Similar to the original L12 Actuators and is our new line of micro linear actuators featuring durable, water-resistant sealing and a slim, lightweight design with all metal gears. Mounting Points Mounting these Micro Actuators is simple. Each end of the Actuator has 2 clevis holes that are 4.1mm dia (0.16" dia) so that a 4mm screw can be used to secure them. In addition, the moving end shaft of the Micro Actuator is able to rotate up to 180 degrees so that the holes do not need to line up with the motor end of the Actuator body.  Mounting the Body of the Actuator is also an option, you can mount to the durable plastic motor body or the aluminum shaft if desired. The benefit of using the 2 round clevis holes of the Actuator is that the Actuator is able to rotate and swivel as its moves which are likely for a lot of applications.  Control Options: These Micro Actuators are a simple 2-wire configuration, this means that you simply supply a 12v DC power source to make the Actuator move, and reversing polarity will change its direction. Most people use a Rocker-Switch to perform this action, or perhaps a remote control system that has 2 buttons (Up and Down)  SPECIFICATIONS Dynamic Load 20N (4.4-lbs force)  Static Load  25N (5.6-lbs force) Input Voltage 12V DC  Speed at Full Load 12mm/sec (0.5"/sec) Stroke length Custom 1-12" (0-300mm) End of stroke Limit switches Built-in, non-adjustable Duty Cycle 25%, max 2 minutes continuous use IP Rating IP65 Operating temperature 5 - 40 degrees C Current Draw No-load 0.1 Amps Current Draw Full-load 0.2 Amps Mounting Points Clevis holes on both ends. 4.1mm dia (0.16" dia) so that a 4mm Screw Operating Noise <65 dBA Motor Type Brushed DC Motor with built-in Gear head and metal gears   Hole to Hole Open and Closed Lengths: Stroke 1 Inch (25mm) 2 Inch (50mm) 3 Inch (75mm) 4 Inch (100mm) 5 Inch (125mm) 6 Inch (150mm) Closed 117mm 132mm 172mm 197mm 223mm 248mm Open 142mm 182mm 247mm 297mm 348mm 348mm   Speed & Load Curves  VIDEO DIMENSIONS Hole to Hole Open and Closed Lengths: Stroke 1 Inch (25mm) 2 Inch (50mm) 3 Inch (75mm) 4 Inch (100mm) 5 Inch (125mm 6 Inch (150mm) Closed 117mm 132mm 172mm 197mm 223mm 248mm Open 142mm 182mm 247mm 297mm 348mm 348mm   3D Model Downloads (.STEP) 1 Inch 2 Inch 3 Inch 4 Inch 5 Inch 6 Inch Actuator Dimensions Click on each image to get the PDF dimensions sheet.
