Intuitive, responsive, and radically fun, the new SK8 builds on the strengths of its predecessor with a refined design, improved construction, and an unmistakable surf-like feel, with even more glide, control, and carving freedom. For this third-generation SK8, the foil’s profile and outline have been refined to deliver a true “surf-like feel”, ensuring it brings steady pressure at all times, whether carving in a critical part of the wave or winging overpowered in choppy waters. Features: Aspect Ratio: 8.0 New profile ensures perfectly balanced front-to-back foot pressure at all times Refined outline and wingtips for improved roll and precise maneuverability Remains agile across the full speed range, even when overpowered Most versatile foil in the range – built to do it all TITAN 2 connection for improved structural efficiency, offering better glide and more direct feel Dynamic Structural Design: Optimized carbon layup for increased control and overall stability With narrower wingtips and a perfected carbon layup, the SK8 stays fast and playful while gaining maneuverability, comfort, and low-end efficiency. It handles tip breaches with ease and delivers tight turns and clean transitions. The result is an intuitive and responsive foil, inviting you to push your limits as soon as you step on it. The SK8 links more turns and performs across a wider range of conditions. It delivers perfectly balanced front-to-back foot pressure: no overpowering, no kicks, no porpoising, just smooth control throughout. The new SK8 also maintains its full maneuverability across the entire speed range. It stays loose and responsive, never locking up, even under high loads or when fully lit. Whether you're carving small waves or open-ocean bumps, hitting the foam, or linking turns in peeling waves, the SK8 comes alive under your feet. For winging, it excels with its high-speed glide and natural upwind ability, letting you ride fast and light without overloading your wing or your arms. From glassy peaks to wind-blown lumps, the SK8 is your go-to foil for carving and riding with that pure surf feeling. Titan 2 Connection The TITAN 2 connection introduces a revised design to deliver even greater efficiency, rigidity, and reliability at the critical junction between the mast and foil. Building on the compact, stiff, easy-to-assemble format that made the original TITAN so effective, the TITAN 2 now uses only two M8 screws and benefits from a reinforced structural connection. The result is improved precision and responsiveness, all while maintaining excellent hydrodynamic performance. Riders will therefore benefit from a more direct feel underfoot, improved pumping, and a stronger connection to the foil in all conditions. This added stiffness also allows riders to stand higher on the mast, which helps reduce drag and optimize glide.
