Extremely porous filtration medium for biofiltration designed to be used in all aquariums and aquatic systems with a pH of 7.5 or higher. One brick provides around 100,000 sq. ft of surface area for bacterial colonization. Doped with sulfur particles for the cultivation of large amounts of anaerobic microbes to provide for a large denitrification capacity. 9x4.5x2.5" Brick. Made in the USA.
